Jigsaw24 appoints former Phoenix IT Group exec as new non-executive Chairman

Jigsaw24 has appointed Peter Bertram as its non-executive chairman as the company looks to build on its financial performances and growth.

The B2B technology solutions provider says Bertram will bring "extensive board-level experience" and work closely with founders Roger Whittle (CEO) and John Hughes as well as the broader executive team.

"I am delighted to be joining Jigsaw24 and working with its dynamic management team," Bertram said.

"UK businesses are evolving rapidly, and the workplace is opening up to new technology like never before."

Bertram has held many senior roles, including Chairman of Manolete Partners, Zinc Media and Esteem Systems.

For more than 10 years, he was chairman of Phoenix IT Group until its sale to Daisy in 2015.

He joins Jigsaw24 after the company reported record revenue of £156m, up 19 per cent on the previous year, for the 12 months to 31 May 2021.

The business says it is benefiting from the growing demand for Apple products by businesses across the UK and the "increasing expectation" of employees that they are able to choose their own IT hardware as they work more from home.

Bertram said: "Providing personalised, flexible but extremely secure IT services is now key to attracting, retaining and benefitting from the best talent, and as the UK's premier partner for services around Apple devices Jigsaw24 is well-placed to increase its market share as companies embrace hybrid working and employee choice schemes."

Roger Whittle, Founder and CEO of Jigsaw24, added: "An executive of Peter's experience and calibre joining the Board is great news for Jigsaw24, and reflects our ambitions. He will help us as we prepare for the next stage in the evolution of Jigsaw24 and what promises to be an exciting future for the company".
