Soho-based NMR chose to provide the Atempo Digital Archive and Atempo Time Navigator to its customers in the film and video content industry because of the vendor’s technology relationship with Apple.
Neil Anderson, business director at NMR, said the VAR was on the lookout for a partner with Apple-compatible products.
“We have worked with Atempo for a couple of years, offering the Time Navigator, but decided to formalise the partnership after the Atempo Digital Archive was released,” he said. “Many of our customers in the media industry use Apple Macs and this product fitted perfectly in our portfolio.
“Atempo also supports us with deployment while our engineers are still learning.”
Matthias Hintenaus, managing director for northern and central Europe at Atempo, said: “NMR is well placed in the entertainment market. It tried our offering and made the decision to partner with us based on our technology.”
Laurent Fanichet, EMEA communications director at Atempo, said the vendor is on the hunt for more UK resellers in the media and entertainment arena.
“Since July we have grown our partner base from eight to 12 and
we will continue to recruit the right partners for our Select Partner Programme,” he said.
