Bury-headquartered reseller Equanet has opened a new demo centre which it claims is the first such standalone, separate, bespoke IT showcase facility in the area.
Equanet staff will be assigned to work with business customers at the new Innovation Centre in Bury to incorporate various products into personalised offerings, the company said in a statement.
Phil Birbeck (pictured), managing director of Equanet, promised the centre would be an "exploratory and creative" hub for businesses looking to invest in IT.
"Customers can discuss ideas and options, placing communication and mutual understanding at the heart of technology enhancements for their business," he said.
The reseller will use the facility to host proof-of-concept demonstrations, technical workshops and product benchmarking of infrastructure, hardware and software offerings from the likes of HP, Microsoft, Dell, Cisco, Citrix and VMware.
