Misco is planning to open a brand new office in Watford as it looks to grow its UK presence and boost sales.
The reseller currently has bases in Weybridge, Wellingborough and Inverclyde and the Watford base is due to open in the next couple of months.
Between 20 and 30 sales staff will be based in the office, for which Misco is recruiting now.
"Misco is looking to expand its sales force in an effort to grow its presence in the UK," Misco told CRN in a statement. "We are opening the Watford office as a new expansion in order to better serve clients and position the business for future growth. Watford is an ideal location with ample access to public transportation."
Misco is owned by US reseller Systemax and in recent years has caused its parent something of a headache.
But on Systemax's most recent earnings call in March, its CEO Richard Leeds said the picture in the UK is brightening up.
"We are improving our operations and customer service levels in the UK and we have been able to recruit a number of experienced sales personnel to join us," he said. "While we have more work to do to reach our goal for the UK, I believe the business is headed in the right direction and our entire team is focused on additional improvement initiatives."
