Boxer goes pro-AV with Atempo

Broadcast and film post-production requires significant data storage and archiving facilities
Specialist audiovisual integrator Boxer Systems has signed up to offer Atempo data protection and archiving software to the broadcast and pro-production sector.
Mike Heaney, managing director at Boxer, said the Atempo platform would suit pro-AV companies were protecting valuable digital assets is critical.
“There is a growing need among our larger customers for a robust, richly-featured and fully-integrated data protection and digital content archiving platform that supports complex and expanding data-intensive workflow processes,” Heaney said.
Harpenden-based Boxer’s customer base includes the BBC, Arqiva, The Mill and ITN.
Stephane Kirchacker, managing director of northern Europe and business development for Atempo UK, said Boxer has 20 years of experience in the market.
“Partnering with such an established reseller will allow us to build significant momentum in this market,” Kirchacker said.
Atempo products are already being used by organisations such as the National Film Board of Canada, Efilm, RTL-TVI, and Laboratoires Eclair.
