Compel Group bullish for second half of 2006
Reseller hails first half 2006 results as 'satisfactory'
VAR Compel Group is feeling confident despite posting a fall in pre-tax profit for its interim results ended 31 December 2005.
Pre-tax profit stood at £931,000, down from £1.2m in the same period last year.
Turnover was the same as the corresponding point last year at £41m and operating cash inflow was £5.7m, a fall from £6.2m for the first half of 2004.
Neville Davis, chief executive at Compel, said: "Each of our businesses holds a market leading position in its sector and we intend to continue to drive these positions both organically and acquisitively.
"We are confident this will enable us to continue to deliver sound, profitable growth this year and beyond," added Davis.
