Integralis moves into the Gherkin

Security big daddy moves City-based sales and consulting staff into iconic 30 St Mary Axe building

Security VAR Integralis has moved its London office to the Gherkin as it looks to drum up new business in the City.

The iconic 30 St Mary Axe building will house Integralis' sales and consulting staff and provide a base for employees jetting in from other global offices.

Although headquartered in Munich, Integralis claims to be the UK's largest IT security solutions provider, with 250 staff and 2010 revenue that grew 21.5 per cent to €81.1m (£71.4m) in local currencies. It is 78 per cent-owned by Japanese telco NTT.

The firm's London workforce was previously located on Lombard Street.

Neal Lillywhite, Integralis sales and marketing director, said: "The Gherkin is a great location for us. Within a stone's throw of many of our clients, it offers us the ideal combination of location, scale and security that we are looking for."

Operations director Graham Aynsley added: "It is pertinent that a company such as Integralis has its London office within a secure environment. More and more, we find ourselves consulting with our clients to incorporate and enforce policies which focus on a secure workforce and working environment, as well as providing professional advice on IT security."
