Integralis buys Secode from parent NTT
Managed security services player becomes a wholly owned subsidiary and gives firm greater clout in the Nordics
Security Integrator Integralis has snapped up managed security services player Secode AB from its parent company NTT Communications.
The firm, which has a strong presence in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Netherlands, offers managed security services, consultancy and technology to commercial, government and military clients.
As a result of the deal, Secode will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Integralis, which was itself acquired by NTT in 2009, and will be able to offer the full range of Integralis’ products and services.
Goran Egnell, chief executive of Secode, said: “We are looking forward to the opportunities that this acquisition will bring to our organisation, our customers and our employees.
“Our excellent relationship with Integralis to date has already proven to be extremely valuable and we look forward to formally becoming part of the Integralis team. We will continue to provide our regional and multinational customers with comprehensive, value-added services to help identify and manage their information security risk, while providing a far greater range of expertise and delivery that is only possible from a global organisation,” he said.
Simon Church, chief operating officer at Integralis, said: “The acquisition of Secode not only expands our coverage across the Nordics, it adds a wealth of commercial, government and military experience and expertise, particularly to our consulting organisation.
“We look forward to furthering our relationship with the Secode team and welcoming them to Integralis. The addition of Secode reinforces our ability to offer customers the very best service and will help us to build on our MSS offering.”
Katsumi Nakata, senior vice president of global business at NTT, added: “We continue to invest heavily in the growth and expansion of Integralis worldwide. The transfer of Secode to Integralis will offer even greater opportunities for Integralis to develop its leadership position providing pure-play information security solutions across a key region.”
