Social networking is now a grey area

Age Concern is recommending social networking for the older generation as a great way to keep in touch with people and even make new friends. Wicked, innit?

Apparently it is a growing trend for the older generation to turn more to their computers, particularly if they live in the more remote areas and cannot get out as much as they used to.

If this trend carries on there will be more older people using social networking than the young, who think anyone above the age of 30 are unable to use a computer (I'm showing my age here).

Even the Pope has got in on the act with his YouTube broadcasts.

Those youngsters had better watch what they post on their Facebook pages. Granny will be watching!
