In yer Facebook

Boy am I glad I didn't get sucked into the Facebook phenomenan.

Headlines were screaming out this morning that the social networking site has suddenly changed its terms and conditions, giving it the right to keep everything posted on the site, whether it is personal photographs, sensitive information or whatever, and also to use it where it likes.

Bad luck to all those who posted videos or pictures then. Also to professional photorgraphers that published their own pictures on the site - they certainly don't own the copyright any more.

Now the ones that will be penalised the most with this is the 'youth of today' who seem more than willing to share every single event in their lives with half the world. Why I don't know.

Cynical old gits like me, who are just getting their head round social networking, will not see any affect whatsoever.

Not that I needed it, but this is even more of a deterrant for me in every signing onto Facebook.

If I could delete my profile I would, but I'm afraid Facebook owns my profile. Shame I never got round to finding a suiable picture to go with it!
