Way to Snow

Well the weather experts got it right yet again. (That is a miracle in itself!)

It snowed last night. And, boy did it snow!

I managed to escape the worst of the weather on Sunday/Monday - but it has certainly made up for it now.

Where I live in Leicestershire we have about 8 inches of snow. Not a single car ventured down my road until about 10am this morning and even then it was sliding all over the place in a very worrying manner.

I ploughed my way down my garden to feed my chickens this morning and one of them jumped out of their hut before I could scrape a path in their run for them - the only thing you could see was her red crown sticking out - I wish I had taken a picture. They are tall chickens as well!

Luckily I took my laptop home with me last night and am able to work remotely - but that still doesn't stop me falling behind due to the meetings I am missing today.

The sooner this weather is over the better. The only time I like snow is when I am skiing - that way at least you get to enjoy it rather than worrying about all the things you are missing at work.

Apparently there is more to come tomorrow in London as well - so it looks like we are not out of the woods yet.
