I have just returned from a lunch meeting feeling very full and ready for a sleep. Always a bad idea having a nice lunch on a Friday - not the best for productivity in the afternoon.
However tomorrow that will all change as my training for the Westcoast 10k Challenge begins in earnest.
The last time I donned a pair of running shoes was back in 2002 when an intrepid team from CRN decided to run it at the same time. The experience wasn't the best for me and I have shied away from running ever since - but now is the time to lay those ghosts to rest.
On 12 July, myself and CRN's news editor Doug Woodburn and reporter Sam Trendall will be running through central London in the name of charity. We will be setting up a JustGiving page soon and then the sponsorship emails will begin! You have been warned.
I'll keep you updated of my progress. Tomorrow should be interesting to say the least!
