CSI will provide secure lease financing for every product in Psion’s portfolio, underwritten by £802m worth of the leasing firm’s company assets.
The vendor, which specialises in mobile workforce automation devices aimed at users that work in retail, automotive and airports, said the agreement would ensure customers get access to the most up-to-date versions of its products.
Paul Westmoreland, managing director of Psion UK, said: “This collaboration gives our customers the ability to further control their costs and take advantage of technology changes.
“Our products already have a longer lifespan and give a lower total cost of ownership, but leasing will give customers even more flexibility for customised payment terms.”
Chris Lloyd, UK sales manager of CSI, said: “We are delighted to be working more closely with Psion, and we aim to provide competitive financial solutions for Psion’s product range.”
