Trend Micro's UK and Ireland managing director Nigel Seddon has left the company after six years.
His role will be fulfilled by Anthony O'Mara, senior vice president EMEA at the security vendor, until a replacement is found.
Speaking to CRN, Seddon, who left at the beginning of July, said: " This is an opportunity for me to spend some time with my family. I have been with Trend for a number of years."
Seddon said he intends to stay in the IT industry and is considering a number of opportunities both inside and outside the security market.
A Trend Micro representative said in a statement: "Nigel has been with Trend Micro for six years now and has held a number of role from business development manager to the UK business unit manager.
"We are very grateful for his service over those six years and his commitment to the company. We wish him all the very best for the future."
