Shiva has released an upgrade of its OS, Shivos version 4, for its family of wandering remote access servers, which includes the Lanrover, Lanrover Plus and Webrover.
As part of Shiva's enterprise ISDN strategy to deliver high-speed access to information, Shivo 4 features integrated ISDN to the Shiva remote access solution, giving network managers the chance to manage analogue and ISDN multiprotocol access to Lans within one integrated platform.
Woody Benson, Shiva senior VP of worldwide sales and marketing, said: 'Shivos 4 enables full multiprotocol Lan access with an open choice of multiple client-side ISDN cards.'
To give it a bit more oomph, Shivos 4 features Multi-link PPP channel aggregation to improve performance. Upgrades range in price from u260 to u460.
