Storage VAR Atlanta Technology has enlisted former Echoworx sales boss Jim Everett to steer the firm's UK growth.
Everett joins the London-based firm as UK sales manager and will be given the task of managing Atlanta's end-user relationships.
Prior to joining Atlanta, Everett headed up Echoworx's EMEA sales activities, where he oversaw the encryption vendor's direct relationships with Symantec and BT Global Services.
Simon Kelson, managing director of Atlanta, said Everett will play a key role in helping the firm grow its revenue for the remainder of its financial year.
"This will be achieved by reviewing our value proposition, identifying new sales opportunities and by working with the sales team to support existing clients' ongoing needs," said Kelson.
Everett added: "I look forward to helping the business expand its market reach and believe my previous experiences will enable me to make an impact quickly."
