Fresh from bagging new funding, distributor Wick Hill has enlisted channel veteran Tony Price as its new UK sales director.
Former WStore man Price (pictured) will lead the security VAD's education, training and sales expansion drive in the UK and Ireland in his new role.
Price's arrival follows the departure of previous sales director Richard Carpenter to Comstor.
It also comes on the heels of an injection of funding for the distributor from Rigby Private Equity that will be used to help it expand across EMEA.
According to Wick Hill, Price has a "long history" of increasing sales in the channel, having previously held the managing director role at WStore and spare parts distributor Chiltern IT.
"I am delighted that Tony has joined us as an important asset in our strong expansion plans," said Wick Hill chairman Ian Kilpatrick.
"Tony will be heading up our team in the UK and Ireland, where we have very positive expectations of him."
Price added: "I have known Wick Hill for many years, having been a customer while at WStore. This role is a fantastic opportunity to help evolve and drive growth for an already well-regarded and established channel player."
