If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be and what would you do? A Trappist monk. I would broker meetings with warring factions.
What would you have as your last meal? My wife's vegetarian curry with the usual accompaniments.
What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? I avoid most invitations, but I do occasionally enjoy the sensation of losing money needlessly at Cheltenham and Ascot.
Do you see the cloud as a threat or an opportunity? An opportunity. You know what they say: every cloud has a... bigger cloud behind it.
Have any of your predictions come true this year? I would be poorer and, indeed, it has proved to be the case.
What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2011? The continuing consolidation will present opportunities for those in the driving seat and challenges for those on the other side.
What is the best part of your day? Morning, when I plot and plan.
