VPH Group to reward VARs with AV Points
Maverick's parent launches incentive scheme to buy its audiovisual products and services
Visual Presentations Holdings (VPH), the parent company of distributor Maverick, is launching an incentive scheme to reward VARs that buy audiovisual (AV) products and services from across the whole VPH Group.
Developed by Incentive Direct, an online motivation systems specialist, AV Points is a web-based system that will allow registered resellers to accumulate and spend incentive points.
Jon Sidwick, managing director of Maverick, told CRN: “The products available through the AV Points scheme range from DVDs and iPods to jewellery and holidays. The scheme is aimed at SME resellers and it is up to each VAR as to whether they reward individual salespeople or the business as a whole through AV Points.”
Sam McMaster, managing director of AV reseller Questmark, said: “Anything that a distributor wants to give back to VARs is always welcome, but an incentive scheme can sometimes be a distraction. We look more for things from a distributor that really add value, such as marketing assistance or training.”
