Dublin-based asset management software vendor Tally Systems has launched a money saving scheme for resellers. The company claims that its new TS.Link channel strategy can offer discounts of up to 30 per cent.
The scheme is centred on the company's main software products TS Census, which enables mobile management, and TS.Ready, which features e-distribution and self-healing software.
Tally said that TS.Link consists of three different arms: TS.Connect, TS.Alliance and the Technology Partner Programme.
TS.Alliance, which already has partners such as IBM and Compaq, is aimed at larger organisations, which view Tally's products as "important to the delivery of services to end users", the vendor said.
TS.Connect is aimed at systems integrators and resellers that work on a discount structure, based on the amount of products sold each year, while the Partner Programme is for technology partners whose products integrate with Tally's product suite.
Karin Smyth, international marketing manager at Tally, said that resellers joining the scheme will need to be fully accredited, but they will be provided with free training.
"All we ask is that partners have one dedicated sales person and one technical support person for the product," she said.
As an extra benefit under the scheme, new partners will have access to Tally's PR programme and will be able to attend trade shows and seminars organised by the company.
Future partners will also be able to take part in beta product tests and have a free copy of the Census and Ready software for their own offices.
Tally has about 20 channel partners across Europe and the vendor operates solely through the channel.
"When we are recruiting new partners for TS.Link it will be area-sensitive," said Smyth. "We do not want too many partners to be grouped in one area."
