Centennial channel seeing benefits of acquisition

Firm claims its partners have welcomed its acquisition by FrontRange Solutions

The channel has embraced the acquisition of software asset management (SAM) vendor Centennial Software by FrontRange Solutions, both vendors have claimed.

Centennial was acquired by IT software vendor FrontRange in April to strengthen its service management, help desk and client lifecycle portfolio.

Michael McCloskey, chief executive of FrontRange, said: “Centennial has a strong channel from the acquisition and our partners have received it very well. There are plans for more partners but we are focusing on our existing channel and Microsoft LARs at present.

“Centennial partners have adopted the FrontRange portfolio well as the products complement each out. Centennial is the glue in the middle of FrontRange.”

With products including Auto-Discovery, Inventory Management and License Management Solutions, Centennial serves more than 3,200 customers worldwide and has more than 200 partners.

Alex Hilton, Centennial sales at FrontRange, said: “We have had a great reception from the channel. FrontRange is not just focusing on the bulk and the licensing that partners can sell, we want them to get the most of out their customers and every bit of revenue they can.”
