Dell signs Co-Op Systems for voluntary sector

PC titan unveils London firm as first UK Certified Partner in the not-for-profit arena

Co-Operative Systems, which specialises in providing IT to not-for-profit organisations, has been signed up as PC giant Dell's first UK Certified partner covering the voluntary sector.

The south London-based firm provides hardware, software and telecoms kit to charities, as well as voluntary and non-Governmental organisations. The Microsoft Gold Partner has been operating for more than 20 years and also provides services including project management, installation and configuration, audits, support and training.

The company will work closely with Dell on marketing and will demonstrate their technologies at conferences and events. The hardware behemoth will also provide Co-Op Systems with specialist speakers for such events.

Co-Op Systems director Philip Anthony said: "The award of Certified Dell Partner status means we have been recognised as providing excellence in our service. This combined with accreditations from Microsoft and Investors In People enables us to offer a guarantee of quality and expertise to our clients.

"Working together with Dell, we will offer a wide range of services and solutions to our charity clients. We are really pleased to have achieved this accreditation and I am sure that over time it will assist in producing better value and quality of IT services across the sector."

Charity the Depaul Trust works with homeless young people and IT manager Mike Strickson welcomed the partnership. He said: "As a regular user of both Co-op Systems' ICT services and Dell products, partnerships like this - particularly in the charity sector - go a long way to improve confidence in rolling out solutions across our organisation both in the short term and for the future."
