Azzurri certified by royal appointment

The Queen has awarded the Aldridge-based VAR with a Royal Warrant after years of comms provision

VAR Azzurri Communications has been awarded a Royal Warrant by Her Majesty the Queen after eight years of faithful service to the royal household.

The warrant, which took effect on 1 January, runs for five years. It was given to the West Midlands-based integrator in recognition of the work it has done since 2003, providing the royal household with mobile telephony and connectivity services.

Only the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales can decide to award such warrants.

Mark Quartermaine, chief executive of Azzurri, said: "It is a great honour for any firm to be awarded a Royal Warrant. It is an exceptionally prestigious stamp of quality and reliability and therefore we are delighted to receive this recognition."
