HP's Veghte eyeing the exit - report
Sources claim HP's Enterprise Group boss won't stick around long after the upcoming split
HP's Enterprise Group boss Bill Veghte is planning on leaving the firm once it splits in two, according to reports.
Business Insider reports a source familiar with the matter claimed he is on the hunt for a new role at the moment ahead of the break-up which is due to happen in November.
HP will be split into a PC and printer company named HP Inc and a separate HP Enterprise division which will focus on services and hardware.
Once the division is complete, current HP chief executive Meg Whitman will run the latter while Dion Weisler, its current executive vice president for printing and personal systems, will take on HP Inc.
Veghte (pictured) joined HP in 2010 after a nine-year stint at Microsoft as general manager for HP Software. Following that he held the roles of chief strategy officer and chief operating officer before taking on the HP Enterprise Group in the summer of 2013.
HP was unavailable to comment at the time of publication.
