I was chatting to a comms reseller friend of mine last week and was delighted to hear that his company had posted record sales in July.
The chap sounded frazzled but happy as he proudly trotted out his sales figures for the month. I must say I was impressed, and my first reaction was to enquire as to the secret of his success.
"Oh, there's absolutely no logic to it," he told me. "I don't why it happens, but I'm glad it does."
I'm not quite sure if this qualifies as good advice or not. But at least I'll save a few quid by not attending that How to Succeed In Business seminar.
