Sony has slashed the price of its Spressa internal and external recordable CD-ROM drive kits by 30%, bringing entry-level prices below #850.
The drives are bundled with Corel authoring software and are targeted for the first time at the consumer market. Obvious applications include multimedia presentations, publications, training materials and databases. Both internal and external drives can also serve as double speed CD-ROM readers.
