VAR Amillan has launched a cloud service which it claims will save its end users money.
As part of the service, which is aimed at the enterprise, education and public sector markets, the reseller will offer the full Microsoft Lync Unified Communications experience through the cloud as well as on-premise.
Amillan counts Huawei, Polycom and Alcatel Lucent among its vendor partners, and gained a Gold certification in Communication from Microsoft.
The firm claims its AmillanCloud offering is available for moving on-premise services and business applications such as CRM and SharePoint into the cloud, as well as disaster recovery and email migration.
It insists the cloud option will save its end-user companies money by reducing communication and travel costs associated with remote working from multiple locations.
The new cloud offering includes workshops and advice from the VAR's cloud team.
On its cloud information page, Amillan claims to: "Help... find a balance between leveraging what [end users] already have while utilising new technologies to achieve success in adopting cloud strategy."
