Salford-based IT consultancy wins £3.7m Home Office contract
Mason Advisory will help department's digital arm to streamline administrative processes
Consultancy firm Mason Advisory has inked a two-year deal with the Home Office valued at £3.7m.
Mason will work with the Home Office Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) programme team to support the delivery of its new Strategic Operating Model (SOM), which aims to improve value for money, ensure effective delivery of customer needs and improve organisational efficiency.
The DDaT arm of the Home Office seeks to enable transformation by streamlining processes within that department as well as for government, along with designing and building services for those entities.
"The ability to combine all the workstreams that form a successful transformation rests heavily on understanding the human side of business change," said Duncan Swan, MD of public sector at Mason Advisory.
"That really does play to our core strengths at Mason Advisory. Of course, we're delighted to have been given this opportunity to help the Home Office transform its delivery capabilities.
"More than that, we're already enjoying our initial interactions with the Home Office team and share a common goal of ensuring the SOM for DDaT is delivered successfully."
Mason Advisory claimed it beat 51 other applicants for the contract.
The IT consultancy was established in 2014 and generated revenue of £11m in its year ending 28 February 2019, according to reports filed on Companies House.
"Over the last five years the Mason Advisory brand has become synonymous with the delivery of high-quality consultancy in often challenging environments," Swan said.
"The skill and expertise of our specialist consultants mean that we are able to provide the right solutions to complex business challenges time and time again.
"This latest government contract comes on the back of an exciting year for the company delivering projects for high-profile clients and receiving industry recognition.
"Success in business is hard earned; we are building on all that we have achieved thus far so that we continue to go from strength to strength."
