What was the worst job you have ever had?
A waiter in my student days; that was hard work and not everyone is appreciative.
Which actor would you pick to play you in a movie of your life?
Nicolas Cage. I like his confidence and his soft approach while being a firm and strong character.
What do you do as your party trick?
Buying too many shots for everyone and making bottles of Tequila disappear which is getting harder and harder to do.
What is your favourite chocolate bar?
At the moment Cadbury's marvellous creation jelly and popping candy. It's delicious.
What has been the highlight of your career to date?
I don't have one highlight; the company has won many awards (including one from CRN) which we are immensely proud of, achieving what many people gave us no hope of - a successful thriving business after 16 years with a great team.
And definitely success of our teams each year as without them there is no Caretower.
Has 2014 been a good, bad or ugly year?
Good - we have implemented and invested in new areas and are starting to see the benefit of these investments which lay the foundation for our success over the next five years.
How would you explain the IT channel to a stranger without boring them to death?
A structure that allows customers to be well informed in a buying process to make the correct decision - that probably would bore them though.
Aside from the channel, my dream career would be... a professional footballer, or something in sport.
What major issues will the channel face in 2015?
Margins squeezed even further on products by vendors and customers.
