Julian Buck has left the managing director post at document management and imaging provider Version One. He has been replaced by Greg Ford from Sage.
According to a statement from Version One, Ford (pictured) has 27 years of experience in the UK software and services sector. He spent 10 years at Sage, most recently as managing director of the accounting software provider's mid-market business.
Ford said his aim in the first year would be to drive growth, partly by "re-energising" the firm's partner network.
"This will include working closer to existing partners, software authors and resellers, from pre-sales and marketing through to support and training," he said. "Our partners are vital to our success and so we need to ensure they have all the tools."
Buck told ChannelWeb he had left the company and is looking for a new challenge.
