The operations director of VAR CI-Connect has won £1,250 in travel vouchers in a speed-install competition for Steljes reseller partners.
Kevin Akers, operations director at the Essex-based audiovisual installation specialist, finished the Chief hardware challenge to its resellers, which was held on the premises of distribution partner Steljes recently, in 19 minutes and 23 seconds.
According to a statement released by Steljes, the average time taken is 25 minutes. The kit used included a short-throw projector wall mount with a dual wall plate design, specially designed kit for suspended ceiling projector installations, and a micro-adjustable tile mount, all products made by Chief.
