Do you care about green IT? Yes. It is critical to winning government and other contracts and at Westcoast we care deeply. I do think there is too much mis-information about how to deliver a ‘greener' solution though but fundamentally, I care personally.
If you could be in a rock/pop band, which one would it be and who would you be? Obviously lead singer as we could save on the amplification.
What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? We had a day to die for at St Andrew's on the Jubilee course this year with Westcoast's Scottish customers and HP Procurve. Stunning hotel, course and the weather we had comes along to the East Coast of Scotland once every generation.
Has 2009 been as bad as everyone said it would be? Nowhere near. Of course there have been some challenges but Westcoast has outperformed the market and its original targets.
Have any of your predictions come true this year? Yes - I thought I would love Westcoast at the start of the year - and I do.
What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2010? Further consolidation and the inevitable reduction in government spending.
What is the best part of your day? Any time where my beautiful wife is involved.
