Phoenix brand unification takes effect today
IT services group formally bids farewell to ICM name and claims move will increase its competitiveness
Phoenix has today united all its brands under the parent company moniker and claims the rejig will allow it to "take full advantage" of the opportunities presented by the changing market landscape.
A year ago, Phoenix retired its Servo brand, uniting it with fellow end-user operation ICM under the latter's brand name. Six weeks ago, ChannelWeb revealed the ICM name was also set to bite the dust as part of major reshuffle.
Phoenix formally unveiled the plan at the end of November, and has now announced that, as of today, Phoenix IT Services and ICM will join forces under the one-word sobriquet Phoenix.
David Courtley, chief executive of Phoenix, claimed the unification will allow his firm to deliver first-rate service levels at competitive prices.
"The world of IT services is changing rapidly," he said. "Phoenix's capabilities and reach are well suited to this evolving landscape – in fact, they are second to none. We are excited about the opportunities this presents.
"The organisation change we have made will enable us to take full advantage of these opportunities and to deliver exceptional customer-centric solutions at a competitive price point."
