Advance-ing along the acquisition trail with ConsultCRM

Ever-expanding software and services Group purchases fellow Microsoft partner

Advanced Computer Software (ACS) Group has acquired Camberley, Surrey consultancy ConsultCRM, a specialist in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Vin Murria (pictured), chief executive of ACS, noted that the buyout will enable it to roll up Microsoft Dynamics CRM with its Advanced Business Solutions back-office suite – including accounting, payroll, HR, document management, supply chain, membership and fundraising apps.

"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is recognised globally as a leading CRM solution and this acquisition will enhance our CRM offering across all sectors," confirmed Murria.

ConsultCRM's customer base includes finance, professional services, construction, technology, manufacturing, and defence organisations. It has focused on developing operational metrics and streamlining its customers' client management, using a range of online, on-premise, and private cloud services.

Chief executive Richard Sawney leads a team of 39 at the award-winning Microsoft Gold Partner, which focuses on mid-market and enterprise businesses.

Healthcare and business management software and services specialist ACS has made a long string of local acquisitions in recent years, lately spearheaded by Murria, who before joining ACS already had some 40 acquisitions to her credit from her time at previous companies.
