Career so far I completed an apprenticeship after leaving school and went on to work for DeTeWe. Following this, I set up a consultancy company specialising in all aspects of communications supply, before going on to build and sell two further limited companies connected with the communications sector. I established Daisy in 2001.
Do you care about green IT? Yes. We try and embrace green technologies as much as possible. We promote e-billing across the company and ensure all new customers are signed up to this environmentally friendly method. In addition we have offset the annual carbon expended by operations in our Lancashire office.
If you could be in a rock/pop band, which one would it be and who would you be? Oasis, Liam Gallagher.
What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? Sun City, with my wife.
Has 2009 been as bad as everyone said it would be? Not for Daisy!
Have any of your predictions come true this year? Yes, we thought a lot of our competitors would go to the wall, two of which we bought out of administration.
What do you see as the channel's biggest challenge in 2010? Convergence. Being able to sell an impressive converged product set to SMEs in a really simple manner.
What is the best part of your day? That would be telling.
