Building and guiding CMS to a sustainable scalable £200m business over the last 27 years.
What has been the biggest change in the channel since you started working in it?
Always connected, the mobile workforce.
What three things could you not live without?
1. My iPhone, which keeps me in touch with the business 24x7. 2. Sport, which gives me hours and hours of entertainment. 3. Airplanes to get you from place to place with minimum hassle.
What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?
Sleep walking naked at a hotel after a friend's wedding.
What do your family think you do all day?
Sit in meetings and have long chats with people.
Who is your ultimate celeb crush?
Boringly, I don't have one!
What is your guilty pleasure?
A round of golf during the week.
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
I'd rezone enough land to build about one million new homes where house prices are unaffordable.
Has 2015 been a good, bad or ugly year?
It's been a good year for growth and progress in the business.
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would you do?
Right now, I would probably semi-retire and do some non-exec work and be an Angel investor.
What major issues will the channel face in 2016?
The industry is maturing and with it will come more consolidation, maturing brands with lower margin opportunities. We all need to find new cheese!
